The information on this site is general guidance. Temperatures at the summit are long-term estimates, not a forecast and not a safety assessment. Mountains are dangerous: weather changes fast, and routes need experience and equipment. Always check a local mountain forecast, conditions and the advice of local guides before you go.
Data is used under the licences listed on the data sources page.
Mountain safety. Nothing on this site tells you that a route is open, safe or within your ability. Avalanches, rockfall, storms and altitude sickness are real risks. In an emergency, call the local mountain rescue (112 in Europe).
